summatime and we back outside. good music and the sweet stinch of DTLA…  without a mask. you should know it ain’t sweet but damn its such a familiar oder. maya blessed the studio before she dyed her hair blonde and hopped on a plane. 

this summer I had the pleasure of working with Maya Samaha. She has such a beautiful spirit. We shot on mostly film at my downtown Los Angeles studio. Where I also processed the film and edited this behind the scenes video.

The images in the video were scanned with the clear protective screen over the negatives because they were initially scans for contact sheets and not final prints. I ended up using these scans for the video instead of rescanning  favorites which we will not do until we make final selects and prints.
